Hi, I'm Ruby.

I am a designer with training in service design, alongside experience in graphic and web design. I enjoy working across research, strategy, and visual communication, and have contributed to projects in government, consultancy, and commercial environments.

My background includes research, coordination, communication, and creative delivery, often supporting teams to translate complex information into clear, practical, and user-centred outcomes, bringing both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to delivery.

I was born in the sunny town of Nelson and raised on the edge of the Maitai Valley, where my family and our animals still reside. Since relocating to Pōneke (Wellington) in 2019, I have worked across a range of government ministries, gaining valuable experience before discovering my passion for design. In 2023, I completed a Bachelor of Design for Social Innovation, with a minor in Anthropology.

I'm particularly drawn to work that combines creativity with purpose, and I thrive in environments where design can create meaningful, human-centred impact. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, relaxing by the ocean, playing guitar, and experimenting in the kitchen.
